About

OPENDIME is a single-use physical Bitcoin bearer device from Coinkite. While sealed, it exposes its payment address, balance, and status as read-only files over USB while keeping the private key inside the device. A holder can transfer the sealed stick physically without moving bitcoin on-chain. Spending requires irreversibly breaking the seal to reveal the private key, then sweeping the entire balance into a trusted wallet.
